Not your ordinary book club! The Jewish Kids Book Club teaches children the joys of Jewish literacy by identifying a theme or hero from a children's book. At bi-weekly sessions, we encounter Biblical heroes, Jewish folk tales and contemporary stories that illustrate a distinct theme in Jewish life. The message comes alive with discussions and a corresponding themed craft.
The books selected will focus on teaching values like charity, hospitality, kindness, being happy with what we have etc. |
