With the understanding, they are absolutely free and the rabbis will be happy to put them up for you. One is free, You may purchase others for other doors. All mezuzot are sold at cost price, so it is not a donation. they do cost the donor and Chabad money, and of course the Rabbi's time. If you are in a position to pay it forward and sponsor someone else's mezuzah that would be greatly appreciated but not required or expected at all.
